Yarran Dheran Wetlands - A Changing Landscape
Our beloved ponds and waterfall hold special memories for many - but as rain-fed ephemeral wetlands, they naturally fill and recede with the seasons. They're low after a dry summer (just 1.8mm in Mitcham this January, against a 59.7mm average), yet frogs and turtles still thrive.
