Volunteer at Yarran Dheran
Join our community of nature lovers and help protect one of Melbourne’s most treasured bushland reserves. Volunteers play a vital role in environmental education, bushland restoration, wildlife monitoring, and community events. Whether you have a few hours a month or more time to give, your involvement supports the health of the Mullum Mullum Valley and helps others connect with its natural beauty.
While no experience is generally required to get involved, we’re happy to work with you to explore your interests and skills and find ways you can contribute. At times, however, some volunteer activities may rely on specific skills or expertise.
We are currently seeking volunteers to help with:
Making a heavy duty fitted dust cover for our digital microscope
Social media
Administration
Sourcing the completion of some collections held by the committee, including the Tuckfields Bird Card Series
The development of a Wattles of Yarran Dheran brochure.
