DISCOVER SOME OF THE WILDFLOWERS IN YARRAN DHERAN IN THE SPRING
Yarran Dheran comes alive in the Spring! The bright yellow flowers of various species of Wattles light up the forest, while other shrubs like the Snowy Daisy Bush, Golden Tip, Parrot Peas and Austral Indigo add colour to the forest understorey. Later in Spring wildflowers like Chocolate Lilies, Milkmaids and Waxlip Orchids bob up amongst the grasses while Purple Coral Pea scrambles along the ground.
Children are welcome. Come along and enjoy a walk through our beautiful bushland and see Yarran Dheran’s early wildflowers .
This presentation/walk will be led by Ian Moodie, experienced and informative walk leader, and well known local environmentalist.
Perfect for nature lovers, photographers, and anyone wanting to connect with the bush in springtime.
